Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system issues and implement effective resolutions.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of database management, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex software and database issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to track system health and performance.
• Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to identify root causes of problems.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
