1. Who we are

SUNCHAL (“SUNCHAL”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a technical hiring and talent verification service operated by Suman Kumar, a sole proprietor based in Delhi, India, accessible at sunchal.com.

You can reach us at support@sunchal.com.

2. What SUNCHAL does

SUNCHAL connects early-career technology professionals with companies that are hiring. We do this through:

  • Verification — a live technical evaluation conducted by a working senior engineer, who reviews a candidate's real, deployed work and provides an assessment.
  • A verified talent network — verified candidates receive a public profile and may be introduced to companies hiring through SUNCHAL.
  • A job board — listings we curate, including roles hosted on third-party sites.
  • Preparation tracks — optional paid programmes (Forge, Ascent, Summit) that help candidates prepare their work, portfolio, and interview readiness.
  • Content and tools — a blog, résumé checker, and related free resources.

3. What SUNCHAL does not do — please read this carefully

We do not guarantee employment. We do not promise, guarantee, or warrant that you will receive a job offer, an interview, a placement, a specific salary, or any particular outcome — whether or not you purchase a preparation track, and whether or not you pass verification.

We prepare candidates and we vouch for those who meet our standard. Hiring decisions are made entirely by companies, using their own criteria and processes, over which we have no control.

Verification is not a guarantee of employment, competence in every context, or suitability for any specific role. It is one engineer's professional assessment at a point in time, offered in good faith.

We are not an employer. We do not employ candidates, and we are not party to any employment contract you may enter into with a company.

Passing verification is not guaranteed. Purchasing a preparation track does not entitle you to a verified badge. Verification is assessed on merit.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate, current, and genuinely your own.
  • The work, projects, code, and credentials you submit are genuinely yours, and you have the right to share them.
  • You will keep your login credentials secure and are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, misrepresents work as its own, or otherwise breaches these terms.

5. Verification

Verification is free of charge to candidates. It is funded by the companies that hire through SUNCHAL.

By applying for verification you agree that:

  • A senior engineer will review your submitted work and conduct a live technical conversation.
  • We may publish a public verified profile containing your name, headline, badge level, the work reviewed, and the assessment summary — only with your consent, and you may ask us to unpublish it at any time.
  • The verification outcome (pass, level awarded, or not verified) is at our reasonable professional discretion.
  • We may re-assess or revoke a verification if we later find the submitted work was misrepresented, was not the candidate's own, or was materially misleading.

6. Preparation tracks (paid services)

Preparation tracks are optional. They are not required to be verified, to enter the talent network, or to apply for jobs.

Current tracks and prices are shown on our pricing pages and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time; changes do not affect a track you have already purchased.

What a track includes is described on the relevant page at the time of purchase. Delivery is over the stated duration (3, 6, or 12 months) from the date of activation. Sessions and reviews are scheduled by mutual arrangement; we ask that you engage with the programme within its duration, as unused sessions do not roll over past the end date.

Payment terms and refunds are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. The job board

Job listings on SUNCHAL may be curated from publicly available sources and may direct you to a third party's website to apply. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee:

  • the accuracy, currency, or legitimacy of any third-party listing;
  • the conduct, hiring process, or decisions of any company;
  • that a listed role is still open.

Applications made on a third party's site are governed by that third party's terms and privacy practices. Always exercise your own judgement. Never pay money to a prospective employer, and report anything suspicious to us at support@sunchal.com.

8. Companies using SUNCHAL

Companies engaging SUNCHAL to hire agree that:

  • Fees, deliverables, and any replacement or support terms will be set out in a separate written agreement or invoice.
  • Verification represents our engineer's good-faith professional assessment. It does not remove the company's own responsibility to conduct its own hiring diligence, reference checks, and legal compliance.
  • Candidate information shared with you is confidential, must be used only for the specific hiring purpose, and must not be redistributed.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit work that is not your own, or misrepresent your experience, identity, or credentials;
  • use automated tools to misrepresent your ability during a verification or assessment;
  • scrape, copy, or bulk-extract content, listings, candidate profiles, or data from SUNCHAL;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, another user's account, or our systems;
  • post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or misleading content in comments, posts, or messages;
  • use SUNCHAL to send spam or to solicit users for unrelated purposes.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this section.

10. User content

You keep ownership of what you submit — your projects, posts, comments, and profile content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share it as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your verified profile to companies, or publishing a blog post you wrote).

You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload. We may remove content at our discretion, particularly if it breaches these terms or a third party's rights.

11. Our content

The SUNCHAL name, logo, site design, written content, and the verification methodology are ours. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from them without written permission.

12. Third-party services

We use third-party providers to operate SUNCHAL, including hosting, database, email, payment processing, and AI services. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Availability

We aim to keep SUNCHAL available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially affects a paid service you have purchased, we will act reasonably and in good faith.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SUNCHAL is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or loss of profits.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of SUNCHAL is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹10,000 if you have paid us nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of SUNCHAL, or content you submit that infringes someone else's rights.

16. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@sunchal.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms.

On termination: any active paid track is handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy; we may retain records we are required to keep (including payment records) as described in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice on the site, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use SUNCHAL after a change means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at support@sunchal.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most things can be sorted out with a conversation.
